Leadership
Leadership is increasingly required as the business environment becomes more complex and the rate of change continues to accelerate. The old management techniques of Command, Control and Coerce will no longer produce acceptable results. People are better educated and, supported by modern technology and communications are capable of producing significantly greater performance as long as they are lead and engaged.
There is probably more nonsense talked about leadership than any other business topic apart from motivation. The requirements for leadership are relatively simple but do require some effort. There is no magic "X Steps to Leadership" which anyone can follow to become a leader. Leadership can however be learnt, some people are more natural leaders than others but anyone can become a leader if they put the effort in and acknowledge what leadership really is.
There are problems in leadership where a particular leadership style is not appropriate for a specific environment or where a leader is perceived as being manipulative and looking after only their own interests.
We deliver coaching for leaders on a one to one basis and also deliver leadership workshops. The workshops can be structured to be anywhere from eight hours to fourty hours.
